Payment Processing and Money Flow
All payments on BabyMarket.deals are processed through Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor trusted by millions worldwide.

- Dutch iDEAL payments: direct bank transfers, no card details
Seller Verification
Every seller completes Stripe's identity verification before they can list an item or receive a payment.
Note: Stripe decides what it checks. For sellers in the Netherlands this includes the BSN and, when Stripe asks for it, an ID document. We only receive the result, never the documents.
For Buyers
When you make a purchase:
- Secure payment processing through Stripe
- Items shipped with tracking numbers
- Payment disputes handled through your bank or Stripe
- Standard iDEAL/bank protections apply
Note: BabyMarket.deals is a platform connecting buyers and sellers. We are not a party to transactions. For disputes, contact the seller first, then your payment provider if needed.
For Sellers
As a seller:
- All buyers must have accounts to purchase
- Tracking and proof of shipment provided for all orders
- Payment processing handled by Stripe
Note: Stripe manages all payment processing, verification, and payouts according to their terms.
Privacy & Data Protection
We take your privacy seriously and comply with all EU regulations:

- Minimal Data Collection: We only collect what's necessary
- No Data Selling: Your information is never sold
- Data Control: Request data export or deletion anytime

Report Suspicious Activity
If you encounter any suspicious listings, users, or activity, please report it immediately:
- Email us at support@babymarket.deals
- Use the "Report" button on listings
- We investigate all reports within 24-48 hours
Zero Tolerance: We have zero tolerance for fraud, scams, or illegal activity. Violators are permanently banned from the platform.
Safety Tips
Do
- Read item descriptions and photos carefully
- Use secure iDEAL payments through Stripe
- Wait for tracking information after purchase
- Report suspicious listings immediately
- Keep your account information up to date
- Document issues with photos if needed
Don't
- Pay outside the platform
- Accept direct bank transfers
- Share bank or payment login details with sellers
- Agree to off-platform deals
- Ignore red flags (prices too good to be true)
- Skip reading return policies
